General Info

Located on the 3rd floor of Osaka Bay Tower East, Shintake (3Rd Floor@osaka Bay Tower) is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant that offers a relaxed dining experience in Osaka. Conveniently situated at Japan, 〒552-0007 Osaka, Minato Ward, Benten, 1 Chome−2−2 大阪 Bay Tower East, 3F, this restaurant attracts both locals and tourists looking for a satisfying dinner in a comfortable setting.

From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt lively and welcoming. As a popular dining spot, there is usually a wait during peak hours, but the efficient service and quality food make it worthwhile. For visitors exploring the area, the restaurant also accepts reservations, which can help make the dining experience more convenient. Parking availability is another practical advantage, especially for travelers arriving by car.

The menu features a variety of dishes that go beyond traditional sushi, creating a well-rounded dining experience. Of course, the conveyor belt sushi selection is the main attraction, offering a fun and interactive way to enjoy fresh flavors. One standout item was the はまちとイカの天ぷら, a combination of yellowtail and squid tempura that delivered a pleasing balance of texture and taste. The crispy coating paired beautifully with the seafood, making it one of the most memorable dishes of the meal.

Another highlight was the お 肉 3 種, which provided an enjoyable variety for guests who appreciate meat options alongside seafood. The 茶碗蒸し also impressed with its smooth texture and comforting flavor, adding depth to the overall menu. These dishes showcase the restaurant’s effort to offer something for different preferences while maintaining a consistent standard of quality.

To finish the meal, the スペシャルプリン was an excellent choice. The dessert offered a rich and satisfying sweetness that complemented the savory dishes served earlier. It provided a pleasant ending to a diverse and enjoyable dining experience.

Based on my visit, Shintake (3Rd Floor@osaka Bay Tower) stands out as a dependable restaurant for dinner in Osaka. Its combination of conveyor belt sushi, carefully prepared side dishes, convenient location, and tourist-friendly services creates a positive impression. Reviews often focus on the enjoyable atmosphere, varied menu, and practical amenities, making it a noteworthy dining location for anyone visiting the Osaka Bay Tower area.

What customers say?

“ Delicious, fresh sushi. Variety of new fish to try plus the standard staples. Food delivered quickly to the table. Fantastic price. Easily one of the best sushi establishments I’ve been to in Japan. Went for lunch around 1:30 on a Friday and waited 5 minutes for a seat. There was no sushi in the conveyor belt - everything was made fresh based on your order. Ordering was on an iPad with multiple languages available. Food was delivered quickly via train.Last order was 2:00 for a 2:20 closing. Credit cards accepted. Recommend the lunch specials during the weekday which offerings a great variety and amazing value for between ¥1,000 - ¥2,000. Including soup and ice cream. Seafood tempura was practically a meal in itself with 2 shrimp, squid, octopus, eggplant, pepper and pumpkin. Sushi roll ordered was 3 big chunky pieces. Salmon was our favorite nigiri served. ”

“ One of the best Sushi that I ate while I was in Osaka. The price might be a little expensive but for me it is very reasonable. You get what you paid. You can place your order using tablet and there is English option available. Highly recommended to try. The only thing that I don't like is they call queue card number in Japanese without any screen to let non-local easily know their status. Though you can scan QR code to check your status, you have to check almost every time when they call the new number(keep refreshing our phone)A little inconvenience. Fortunately, I can understand a little Japanese so not a big concern for me. ”

“ This Conveyer Belt Sushi priced their food higher than most of the larger franchised sushi restaurants but the quality goes on par with many mid-high price range restaurants within the major city. But as you can choose your own sushi instead of chef's choice or sets, it gives me more control on what I want to have. I really enjoyed the pickled cabbage gunkan roll as it was seasoned just right topped with fish flakes for a deeper flavour profile, all for 100 yen! ”
